I am HORRIBLE at potty training.... so I won't give you any advice :)Manatee25https://www.blogger.com/profile/02492296075422575319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2240769428697086844.post-52857041397348736252008-11-17T15:17:00.000-08:002008-11-17T15:17:00.000-08:00I would go for it!! I started Max at age 2, and I...I would go for it!! I started Max at age 2, and I did it right after Hudson was born - honestly, it was harder with a newborn, so I would definitely go all the way and get him done before the baby comes. If he relapses, then I don't think it will be a big deal since he'll already be so familiar with it.

Here are my recommendations - get the book "Toilet Training In Less Than A Day" (it's like from the 70's and you can just get it from the library)
Get the movie "Potty Power" - gets the kid motivated and excited to go, cause it's all abou older kids showing you how, and that's it's cool! lol Seriously, do it! Take a week and don't go anywhere - load him up with drinks and practice, practice, practice. We just had a whole week of naked time. If he really wants to do the big potty, I would just get one of those stools, so that hopefully, he can get up there himself. The key is to get HIM to do it all by himself, so you aren't the one to "make" him go - therefore hopefully avoiding a power struggle.
Okay - there's my novel. Good luck!!Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03063702808560010063noreply@blogger.com
